These small clay sculptures are about wondering what happens inside us. As we walk, sleep, eat, get on a train, and get off a train. As we laugh and sing, as we sit down and scroll through the news apps on our phone, as we sweat, cry, bash our elbows and get bruises.
Often the exterior remains quite glossy, glassy, distant. Inside, there is something rough and possibly disgusting. But less disgusting, maybe, than the clear sheen on the outside.
I think that is for each individual to decide.

These ceramics are not available for purchase, as they are part of the artist’s private collection.
